Backlinks Vs Content "Effect ON Alexa Rank"

I was doing some Study on the importance of backlink in alexa rank. Got the results that making backlinks is waste of time for your site. If not waste of time than not much benificial. And you need to concentrate on backlinks only, you can improve content. and get more benefit in terms of traffic.

I searched few sites Site A, Site B, Site C and Site D

Site A has alexa rank 16,000 and number of backlinks around 10,000. This website updates daily 6 to 8 posts posts per day and separate domain.

Site B has alexa rank 35,000 and number of backlinks around 18,000. This website updates daily two three posts per day and separate domain.

Site C has alexa rank 3,00,000 and number of backlinks 15,000. This website updates in three days. host on blogspot.com.

Site D has 400 backlinks but has alexa rank 1.5 lakhs and now it is 2.5 lakhs not updating daily. but have 100s of revievs of Advertisers. But not yet updated from 17th of april.

Conclusion in brief

1. Search engine give importance to backlinks. Making backlink is very tought task and need lot of time.
2. No use if you driving social traffic because less conversion.

3. Their is tough competitions between websites as alexa rank reduces.

Success in terms of effort:

Site D is most successful in terms of efforts and performance and i think done by Good SEO. has no blog comments. Only have good Inbound links from DP and few other places.

Site C is successful in terms of least effort and maximum output. This site host on blogspot and driving traffic only from search engines.

Site B has put maximum effort in building backlinks but still laging from Site A.

Site C has less backliks from Site C but still got better backlinks than site B. because updates many times daily.

Backlink give weight to your site in but putting extra effort in building it waste of time. You can add better content in this time and acheive better results.
