Why Blogspot Still Rocks
After shifted to wordpress and having one top level domain is better then anything. But blogspot still rocks. Why because it is one of the most popular web 2.0 property from Google and millions of peoples using this. I still love blogspot because for some reason it is like zero maintainace vehicle, where we don't need to spend penny.
Why Blogspot Is Better Then Wordpress
Free Free Free: Blogspot is free. So, i think this is self explanatory. Every body like freebies and me too.
Two Minutes Intergration: You can own a blogspot blog with in two minutes. This is as simple as opening gmail account.
No technical experience required: As blogger / blogspot is only like word editor you just have to type and modify in HTML is needed. There is no server and any type od technical skills required in maintaining the blog. So, common people can do the regular updates.
Who says blogspot don't attract visitors: Some people says that wordpress blogs get faster indexed and get more priority from search engines. But still if you also do the same updates like wordpress guys do. There is no reason you won't get that much traffic search engine.
Still blogspot has list of negatives. But i am suggesting blogspot for all the new bloggers who is serious about blogging. Later they can switch to Top level domain. Because blogging needs writing skills.
